The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), is now launched its official Android app calling it IRCTC Connect. The app is available for free, you can download here.It is available for the Android 4.1 users and above.

The app features one step login to existing users, search and book train tickets on the go. You can directly register from the app itself. The app let you to check the train timings, reservations and upcoming alerts also.The app retains passenger details that entered through the app, but it fails to retain the details that previously entered through the website. The biggest drawback of the app is it is not synchronised with the desktop. It fails to synchronise with the website and the another major drawback is you can access the app between 8 am to 12 pm. During this period, the travellers can done their booking via website or physical counters.

The users complained that there is no option for changing profile password and also for checking PNR status. The size of the app is 12 MB and the interface is pretty simple to use.

The app received 4.3 rating from the existing 773 users so far.

Generally we can't share the files between the iDevices and pc,  you can share but with the help of USB cable. In this post, I will show you how to share the photos between your iphone and pc. The iDevices doesn't let us to share anything wirelessly, since it has strong security. But with this app you can share the photos. 

Step 1: First you need to download the Wi-Fi Photo transfer app. You can get it here. 

Step 2: Run the app, accept all terms and conditions.Install it. Make sure that your iDevice is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that your pc is connected.

Step 3: Note the Web address shown in the app. (It'll be something like http://192:168.0.1:15555 though you can leave out the portion before the numbers.) Open a browser on your PC or Mac, then type in that address.

Step 4: In the browser click the camera-roll. You may see other libraries also stored on your iDevices, they can be accessed as well for copying files.

Step 5: To copy files, click on the respected file and choose one of the available options for download i.e., 

full size, large, medium or small. You can copy multiple photos and can download them as a zip file, you just need to  click download selected pictures.

Google has released the latest updates for both the Android and iOS users, which give users to access several features even without the Internet.

To get started, Launch the app and tap on the profile icon located next to the search bar. Scroll down to bottom of the page. Then you'll find a new section which is only dedicated for Offline use.

There are two methods to save the maps to view in offline mode. 

First one is in the settings, and the second one is by typing the "OK Maps" in the search bar of the map at any time when you viewing the map. 

Remember, the google will allow you to save the section of the map only i.e., for eg., any country (paris). The size of the Paris map is 6 MB. Once the map is saved If the area is too large you'll be asked to zoom-in and  users can enjoy many Google Maps features in offline mode without an Internet connection, as long as the device’s GPS is enabled. The feature is particularly useful when travelling to a different country, in order to avoid costly roaming charges. The user's can save upto 6 Maps according to Google.

Some features, including satellite, terrain, indoor maps and 3D buildings will not be available offline. Directions and Navigation won’t be available offline either.

Keep in mind that any saved maps will only remain on your device for 30 days. 

Google, we use this to search anything. As we all know that it can be use in incognito mode so that it won't tracks us i.e., the browsing history of our pc won't be saved by it. Everytime we use incognito mode as everyone does, like we go to settings->choose incognito mode or a keyboard shortcut ctrl+shft+N.

For several reasons we use chrome in incognito mode like 

-> To keep our browsing privately

-> To avoid others checking your emails,social accounts, etc

-> You don't need to logout every time you login in your accounts when you've gone incognito and many more..

So everytime instead of using keyboard shortcuts or choosing incognito mode manually, try this

Step 1: Right-click on your Desktop, select New and then Shortcut

Step 2: Select the chrome.exe and locate the file location, copy the path and paste it in the dialog box appeared .

Here the important thing, don't forget to type the "-incognito" at the end of the address that you have pasted.

Step 4: Click Next and give your shortcut a name(if you want) and Save. Now whenever you click on the icon, chrome will be launched in icognito mode.

Simply 

Right click on the Chrome icon select Properties->Shortcut Tab->Target. In the Target location add the 

"-incognito" at the end and Save.
